You will be configuring the Aftersales eCommerce Stripe Account for your dealership into which DataClover will transfer money based on your Customer Agreement. You will be prompted for your business tax-id / EIN and your banking account information for payout transfers during this authorization process.
Log into DataClover eShop
Navigate in your browser to https://eshop.dataclover.com/
Login into the DataClover eShop Admin tool using your existing ServicePulse login credentials by clicking the Sign In link in the top right. If you are presented with the following dialog, simply click Authorize.
Select the Dealership and Manufacturer for which you would like to configure Aftersales eCommerce.
In the Dealership Settings menu, navigate to the ECommerce tab. You will be presented with various options to configure your DataClover Aftersales eCommerce account depending on your dealership and dealership automotive group.
Option 1 is the most common and recommended way to configure your DataCover Aftersales eCommerce account for your dealership.
Option 2 is for dealerships that have previously set up a DataClover Aftersales eCommerce account for another manufacturer brand at the same dealership. This would be familiar for multibrand rooftops like JRL or CDJR.
Option 3 is for dealerships that already have an Aftersales eCommerce account set up with DataClover and plan to use that same account for multiple dealership locations - most likely within the same dealership auto group.
Initiate Aftersales ECommerce Account Configuration
Proceeding with Option 1, click on the green button Configure Aftersales eCommerce Account and you will be presented with an outline of the 2-step process. Provide the requested business detail information during Step 1:
Tax ID Number / EIN Number - The business's Employer Identification Number issued by the IRS for tax reporting purchases.
Legal Company Name - Legal Business Name as it appears on IRS Tax Documents. It will be used in concert with the EIN to validate your business. If you are unsure of this value, look at your recent paycheck stub.
Sales Tax Percentage - The percent of sales tax the dealership normally collects for services rendered. When setting up e-commerce service products, you will have the ability to indicate for each product if sales tax should be collected. If so, the percentage you enter will be used to calculate the sales tax the customer will be charged.
Statement Descriptor Suffix - This is the business name/abbreviation that will show up on your customer's bank or credit card statements. Choose something they will recognize to help prevent disputes. When finished entering the required information, click the Save & Continue button.
You will be presented with Step 2 in the process of setting up your banking account details to receive payouts. The workflow of gathering banking information should look familiar as it provides a similar user experience you would use in your personal online banking. Follow the instructions provided to set up this information. **
The final screen you will be presented is to Review and submit your information. Verify all the entered information is correct and click the Agree and Submit button.
You did it! You will return to the DataClover eShop Admin application and be presented with a screen that highlights the status of your Aftersales eCommerce account and charging capabilities.
