These are for tickets that are titled SEASONAL only. Any other requests that are not of the below format should use the standard brand format you have been using.
Dealership Name | Seasonal | Football
Dealership Name | Seasonal | Halloween
Dealership Name | Seasonal | Thanksgiving
Note: These templates use all in-line styling. There is no <style> tag. This allows for a more fluid responsive template across devices, and it eliminates the added effort of having to set all of the various attributes. It does have limitations in that font size matters--we can't control the size of the font across different screen sizes. Thus, we build for mobile as best as we can and desktop is secondary.
Setting Up Your Initial Template
Navigate to the SEASONAL project in Iterable (As shown in the example below, you can pinned it to the top of the list so you don't have to scroll, if you prefer).
- Within the SEASONAL project, navigate to the folder that contains the seasonal template you want to use.
- Copy the Template to the applicable Project
- Click the 3 dots to the far right of the template.
- Click the "Another Project" radio button.
- Select Project (brand) from the Project name dropdown.
- Select Message type "marketing message".
- Select Sender from the dropdown.
- Click the blue "Copy Template" button.
Note: You should always start from the Seasonal project folder, not a template you created for another dealership.
The exception would be if you are creating the exact same offers for multiple dealerships. For example: If there are two tickets: Cherry Hill Audi and Cherry Hill Volkswagen, and they ask for the same offers, you can copy one into the other ones project and change the hero image name.
Creating the Template
- Navigate to the Project (brand) where you copied the template.
- Open the template and rename it for the dealership you are working on.
- Example: ABC Dealership | Halloween 2026
- Note, the email subject and preheader are already populated for you.
- Download the HTML to your machine.
Change the hero image to the correct brand.
- Edit the <img src="https://email-library.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/SEASONAL/mazda/mazda_halloween.jpg" to match the brand you're working on.
- In the above case you would change mazda/mazda to for example bmw/bmw.
- Make sure the new image reflects the correct brand. If there is no image created for that brand yet, ask Debbie to create.
Update the Offers
- Start a New Chat in ChatGPT.
- Click the + to upload the HTML code.
- Type the below into the chat box, substituting with the offers applicable to your ticket.
Rebuild the offer sections for these offers:
20% off service, max savings $250
Value Service Oil Change starting at $119.95
Finalizing the Template
- Once ChatGPT gives you the edited code, you can copy it back over top of the code on your machine.
- Run the JSON from the ticket to get a preview.
- Check to make sure everything looks good and the offers make sense.
- Check to make sure the expiration date matches what is in the ticket (expiration date is in the bottom disclaimer).
Note: The seasonal templates are set up with a base disclaimer at the bottom. There should be no need to edit that disclaimer. Any disclaimer type copy that you add to the request in ChatGPT will be created as part of each offer. See example of a final version with the coupon disclaimers.
Load HTML Code to Iterable and Generate Proof
- Return to your file in Iterable and upload the new version.
- Generate the proof as usual, along with the .PNG and send Proof to customer.
