Dealership Integration Invitation
DataClover is a certified Xtime Partner for Service Scheduling integration. DataClover must invite the dealership to opt-in for the DataClover partner integration. From your DataClover Onboarding Contact, you will receive an email invitation that will look something like that below.
The invitation will contain a unique invitation code that expires in 72 hours after which a new invitation code will need to be generated if you are unable to complete the process within that time. If this occurs, simply ask your DataClover Onboarding Contact for a new invitation code.

Instructions for dealerships to connect using the invitation code. 1. Log-in to Xtime Please Note: This invitation expires 10/03/2022. After this time, the invitation will become invalid and a new invitation will be required to connect. |
Upon completing the process, it may take up to 24 hours for Xtime to reflect the integration has been confirmed.
Dealership Service Operations Code
The Xtime API integration requires DataClover to pass in a service opcode for the appointment request. Since the DataClover Scheduling solution does not prompt the consumer for a specific service they are visiting the dealership for, you can elect to either use an existing opcode that is available in most Xtime installations OR to create a new general service opcode for the DataClover appointment requests. The choice is yours.
Option 1 - Using Existing Service Opcode (most common)
Most Xtime installations will have a service opcode of "Tell Us More". Providing your dealership has this service opcode published, this is a viable option. Or if there is another existing operations code that is suitable for the appointment requests, that too is okay.
Option 2 - Create New DataClover Service Opcode
Some dealerships choose to create a specific operations code of "DataClover Appt" that helps them more easily identify the appointments in Xtime that are originating from their DataClover solution. Guidance on creating a new dedicated service opcode in Xtime:
- Create a standard scope service operation code that can be used for any year/make/model for the dealership. Set the service opcode value to the desired code while setting the opcode name to something identifying the operations code is used through your DataClover marketing solutions such as "DataClover Appt".
- When setting up the new DataClover Scheduling service operation code, ensure that the opcode can be used through the Xtime API integration. In the Availability section, you must ensure that “All” is selected for the Which apps should display it? setting.
-
Finally, ensure that you Publish the new catalog in order for these opcode changes to take effect as shown below. Share your new service opcode with your DataClover onboarding contact.
