Multi-Factor User Authentication (MFA)
New
Beginning February 1st, 2024, all existing and new users are required to enter a second authentication element or token to log into ServicePulse. When logging into ServicePulse, after the user enters their email and password, they will be presented with the following webpage to enter a verification code. (TEC-4671)
New ServicePulse User
New
The new user email sent to newly created ServicePulse users has been significantly updated. Before this update, the new user emails were largely ignored when sent to the dealership users as they largely appeared as a simple welcome to DataClover email with various marketing messaging. This resulted in DataClover personnel setting passwords manually and sending them via email which is poor security practices.
With this release of ServicePulse, the new user email is now more explicit that an additional step is needed to activate their account. In addition to the body of the email and its instructions, take note of the "from" and "subject" of the email also being straightforward about taking the next steps in setting up their ServicePulse account. (TEC-4040)
DealerServiceHub - Genesis Brand Support
New
The Genesis manufacturer brand is now supported on the DealerServiceHub platform! This included the Tips & Guides content marketing pages which contain articles and images related to vehicle maintenance. The necessary brand guidelines concerning images, fonts, and brand colors have been honored in the development of the new DSH brand. (TEC-4842,TEC-4763,TEC-4764)
DealerServiceHub - Audi Brand Compliance
New
The Audi brand issued an updated font. Changes were made to DealerServiceHub for the Audi brand to support the new font. (TEC-4825)
DealerServiceHub - Porsche Brand Compliance
New
A new Porsche company logo has been updated on the DealerServiceHub platform. (TEC-4405)
Service ECommerce - Warranty Services
Fix
Before this release, how the mid-page marketing copy wrapped around the mid-page marketing image was undesirable and resulted in a poor user experience. This was evident when the image was on the left margin as it is for the e-commerce warranty category pages. This issue has been corrected to keep the text in a left-justified format. (TEC-4812)
Direct Mail Marketing
Fix
It was observed that the expiration date format on the proof that is generated by the Marketing Operations team is different than what is printed on the mail piece. For example, the proof would have the expiration date format of 02/13/2024 while the printed mailer has 2024-02-13. The resolved date format for both the proof and printed mailer will be in the form of MM/DD/YYYY. (TEC-4777)
Appointment Request Queue
New
It has been determined that it would be a better user experience for the dealership users to visually see the last 30 days of appointment requests rather than just the last 7 days. When an AR is aging, the system will send an email to the dealership BDC indicating there is a time-sensitive AR. However, with only a 7-day view, it may not be enough time for the BDC to respond, therefore when they click the aging link, no appointment requests may be displayed with the 7-day filter. The default date range for the Appointment Request Queue has been changed to the last 30 days. (TEC-4769)
To assemble the marketing information in a more consumable and relatable form, the media type of marketing campaign has been moved to the Campaign Name area of the "expand details" for the appointment request. (TEC-4798)
Fix
When displaying the "expand" details of an appointment request, there was a known bug that would not display the campaign details for SMS marketing. Instead, the user would be shown a message of "campaign data not yet available". This issue has been corrected and will properly display the marketing campaign details. (TEC-4791)
Service Effectiveness Report
Fix
After investigation, it was determined that the Service Effectiveness Report in ServicePulse was taking into account the dealership's "internal customer". The "internal customer" is used for two business use cases: 1) for vehicle trade-ins, and 2) for Sales or Repair Order processing when a customer DMS number is not provided by the data feed. To avoid confusion, the Service Effectiveness Report has been updated to omit the "internal customer" record from the inactive customers list. (TEC-4823)
Purchase Fulfillment
New
As requested by several dealerships, the Notes field is now editable in the Completed state. (TEC-4806)
SMS Reporting
Fix
When running the SMS Reporting in ServicePulse for a multi-brand store, when clicking on the Campaigns tab, the previously selected dealership vehicle make is cleared and the user can only view the “first” dealership vehicle make in the drop-down list. When trying to change the dealership vehicle make drop-down to another brand, the page reverts to the Overview tab. This bug has been corrected. (TEC-4869)
Security
Server Updates
As part of the DataClover security posture to protect customer data and eliminate known vulnerabilities, the DataClover Dealer Service Hub (DSH) & eShop solutions have been upgraded to the latest open-source package security and software versions. (TEC-4358,TEC-4795)
